Find your best then beat it – Daily Motivation!

If you want to compete with someone, always compete with yourself first!
Every single day, in the exact moment you get out of the bed, ask yourself: “what can I do today to become better than how I was yesterday?” then, DO everything in your power and in your possibility to accomplish this daily goal.

Desire to be better than the day before, doesn’t mean not loving or appreciating who you were yesterday, it only means that YOU KNOW than you can always be better, that you can always improve, learn, challenge yourself and move one step forward in a more productive and efficient way!

This is the foundation of self-love. Loving and appreciating your big and small successes is what will make you consciously aware that you want and deserve to become a better version of yourself every single day.

DO NOT DO IT for your partner, not for your family, or your friends or your boss, DO IT for yourself and your future self will thank you!

Be your own best friend!

For most part of my life, I strongly believed that they way you are born (both mentally and physically) is the way you are going to die. In my mind didn’t exist the word change.

“This is who I am and nothing will ever change…” was my usual approach to life.
Although this was one of my strongest belief, I never fully accepted it. I lived most of my time in this world, fighting a daily battles with myself and if I am brutally honest, the battle is still there and it will never end.

But today, the approach with myself is totally different and this is difference that is making the difference in my mental, physical and professional achievements.

I never fully liked myself, I lived most part of my life with a mask of confidence that was never really existing. The time spent with myself was used to blame the world for the way I was, the way I looked, the way I interact with others without really take any responsibility and action in order to change.

Many people today see the results of what was a lifetime battle, struggle, pain, tears and rejection. I often been asked “How did you CHANGE? How did you achieved such huge results?”

My answer is always the same…”I didn’t really changed, I only started to LOVE myself more, and the changes occurred almost “automatically.

I promise you, your level of achievement in life is proportional to how much you love and respect yourself. PERIOD! All the rest, is absolute bullshit! (Sorry for the French!)

The point is: Love yourself the way you want to be loved, respect yourself, the way you want be respected, appreciate yourself for who you are, accept your past, accept your roots, accept and forgive yourself for all your failure and mistakes. Recognise and reward your small and big successes.

Stop blaming the world for what you don’t like about yourself. If there is something that you don’t like, YOU and ONLY YOU have the power to change it.

Fight your own battles without expecting any reward and/or validation from others.
Your daily duty is one: love, respect and appreciate yourself.

Remember, the only person you will going to live all your life with is yourself!
Become your own best friend.

Learn to love yourself. Learn to LIVE!

“Loving yourself isn’t vanity. It is sanity.” – Katrina Mayer
I never thought possible in my entire life being able to wear a sleeveless shirt and feel comfortable in it.
I never thought possible I was able to take a picture of myself wearing it and publishing it on the web.
Being fat, being ashamed of myself as person and for the way I looked for pretty much all my life, today, when I look myself in the mirror, everything looks like a surreal dream.

I always been very, very harsh with myself and for this reason, I still feel that I am very far from the mind and body I really want, but I am learning.

I am learning day by day to take one step at the time, I am learning to enjoy the little steps even when they seems apparently small and most important thing, I am learning to enjoy the journey.

A journey made of sacrifices, tears, sweat, sometimes failures and disappointment, but it’s my journey, I own it and I am on the driver seat, with God’s help I know where I am going and I am happy with it.
At almost 42 years old, I am finally learning, for the first time in my entire life to love myself. To love myself for who I am, enjoying the good and accepting the bad.

I am learning to be excited about who I want to become. I am proud of not becoming a copy of someone else, but simply becoming the best version of myself.

I understand that you will never be able to love someone else, completely an unconditionally, if you don’t love yourself first. However to learn loving yourself it is the hardest thing that you will ever do in your entire life, but is the only thing that will give you a LIFE.

Start today, start small, but start. Right now is the moment to create your new you. Today and NOT tomorrow, because tomorrow can be too late.

Record of the Day: Lowest Weight in 25 years!

I took this is a picture in January 2014 when my personal development, mental and physical started. However I was fat, I was NOT fat as much as I was years before this photo when I reached the top weight 120 Kg (264 lbs). I will probably find some pictures soon to show you how ridiculous I was.

Anyway I have just checked my weight (even in the afternoon you should not) and with surprise (I haven’t eaten really really clean lately 🙂 ) I am currently  on the lowest weight ever reached in the last 25 years 82.9 kg (182.7 lbs) and I am very happy about it!

As I said in the previous post I have started today  Insanity MAX:30 and by the end of the 60 days I weigh 75kg (165 lbs) or less! This is now a public goal!

Learn and practice self-love. Do it now!

Love yourself and be proud of everything you do, even your mistakes. Because even mistakes mean that you’re are trying.

Recognising and rewarding your big and small successes in life, also accepting your mistakes, are skills that we all MUST to learn and practice daily.

Loving yourself more, it’s not a selfish act, but it’s the only opportunity you have to create a good relationship with the only person that you have to spend all your life with. YOU!

So it’s better that you start now! It’s not easy, I know….but I am doing it and you can do it too!
